Sapia is a cover material woven with 55% ocean recycled PET and 45% PCW rPET.

1 yard of Sapia material contains 5.2 PET bottles retrieved from the ocean.

If Sapia was used as the cover material for the first Harry Potter edition, 75 million plastic bottles would have been retrieved from the ocean. Imagine how many your next project could save!

Our research and development teams worked tirelessly to ensure this new material fits LBS’ exacting standards, and the results are stunning! Sapia decorates beautifully with blind debossing, foil-stamping, as well as screen and offset. Furthermore, Sapia is among the most durable cover materials on the market!
