The Revival of Print Books Continues
According to a recent article by Jim Milliot in Publishers Weekly, the sale of print books rose 6% in first six-months of 2016 compared to the same time period in 2015.
Adult nonfiction leads the way with a 12% increase followed by juvenile nonfiction with a 9% increase and juvenile fiction with a 3% increase. The only category that declined was adult fiction by 4%.
